Astral Projection – Went Nowhere
Last night’s experience was pretty frustrating. I’ve been reading Astral Dynamics by Robert Bruce and working through some of the energy work. Last night I spent time focusing energy in my feet. Basically following this tutorial for the toes and feet:

My feet immediately started tingling, so I figured I already have a good store of energy there but I went through the exercises anyway.
I was tired last night, so I didn’t even intend to try to project. I just went off to sleep around 11 or so. Sometime in the middle of the night I woke up and felt that I could lift out of my body. I willed myself out but I wasn’t able to see or do anything. I assume I tried too early. Next time that happens, I think I’ll just wait a while instead of immediately trying.

I had success with the techniques taught in those books when nothing I’d ever tried had worked before (and I tried quite a bit). So I highly recommend them, not just for how to have OBEs but also what the potential of them is, and how much we can experience plus lots of other tips.
