Here you will find personal explorations beyond the physical limits of the body. These explorations are not based on any science or religious dogma but instead on an unquenchable desire for knowledge and a better understanding of self and the universe through astral projection, personal experience and spiritual exploration.

Hey David, good to see you back also.. I know I can't talk, I'm on and off all the time.. I was meaning to post two experiences I had in the past two days but saw you posted so may leave it for later..

One of the experiences was while in what I believe was a lucid dream.. Like your post above I decided to test reality but touching the physical surroundings... Like you.. Bingo! Feels like normal tactile sensory perception.. Before that I was sure I was dreaming but after touching the object and getting this type of sensory feedback I was now unsure and felt I may be awake..

My conclusion: Using touch and physical sensation as a test to discern dream from physical reality may produce more false results than positive ones. I may continue to test this but for now based on many similar past experiences I currently conclude that touch may be highly unreliable for testing reality. This may be overcome however, through changing my expectation about what happens in the dream/OBE should I touch a physical object. I/we still seem governed by our expectations...:)

Be well, PEACE, Dean

Also.. I've found since my first OBE (which was planned and induced) my need to try has lessened but the times that I project or am close to projecting is quite regular (maybe once a week).. Maybe this experience will lead to more OBE's and more 'close events', Dean

Hi Emmy & David, I've wondered a few times over the past couple of weeks that the new baby must be getting close.. still some more weeks left I see but fairly close much the same.. My advice.. enjoy some time together with each other while there is just one child cause we have found time together is even less now we have two.. Not to dampen it..a new child is exciting and I absolutely adore my second child (daughter) but reality for us has been - time alone is more difficult to find and getting enough sleep is tougher also :) Maybe if you are well organised you could get time :) Enjoy the rest of your pregnancy and Emmy it's good to see you posting here again, Dean

This really resonates with me. I've listened to The Power of Now audiobook twice; I always learn something new. Joy, bliss, the exquisite fullness of the life experience is only savored in the present. If I teach my children ONE thing, I hope this is it.

A wonderful resolution for every day :-) Peace... and Happy new Year and decade!

Merry XMas David, Yes i have been trying to see if there is anything in this 2012 date other than the end of the Mayan Long Count. So i hope to travel into the future via AP of LD more for research... Dec 2012 summer solstice (Southern Hemisphere) represents the end of the Mayan long count and end of the current sun cycle.. which also corresponds to the NASA predicted date of greatest solar activity... There are also other interesting astronomical events happening.. the Mayans seem so ahead of their time in terms of Mathematics, and Astromomy in particular, that i can't help but have some intrigue over these times... As far as end of the world i don't know.. it may just be a new beginning?? how this occurs is what i am hoping to explore!
Peace,
Dean

Are you trying to see if there is any truth to this end of the world prediction? :) I say to people all the time "I bet you "some amount of money" it will not happen" as a joke.

This is a very cool experience though and you seem to be gaining more control, I wish I could say the same.

I just got Thomas Campbell's My Big TOE trilogy in the mail and I am finishing up reading The Power of Now. These books are helping me get my mind off of work related things so that maybe I can catch up with you.

Seriously though, I need to ditch the "I" and "You" mentality. I know better.

I read the naturopathy e-mails, but with another child on the way it may not be realistic. Perhaps I can just be a very strong supporter and advocate of naturopathic healing.
