These explorations are not based on any particular science or religious dogma but instead on an unquenchable desire for knowledge and a better understanding of self and the universe through astral projection, personal experience and spiritual exploration.

I went to bed around 10 PM last night which was an amazing feat. We watched Monk, the kids fell asleep and our eyes got heavy so it was early to bed. I put on my earbud headphones and fell asleep listening to “”Naturespace Holographic Audio – Night at Lake Unknown”". I don’t remember any of my dreams up until about the time I woke up around 6 AM – 7 AM.

At about 6 AM I found myself in a dream. I was in the passenger side of a car that was moving through the foothills of The Smokies. The guy that was driving was unfamiliar and the road we were on must have been unfamiliar to him because he was driving too fast. It was a rough, narrow, winding two way road and I was afraid that a) he was going to run off the road or b) run into a car. I remember being part of this dream script and telling him to slow down. There were two passengers in the backseat that I knew but I can’t remember who they were now.

The place we were driving was familiar and I was trying to figure out where we were but the dream shifted at this point. We were no longer in the car, the driver was gone and we were standing in the mouth of a cave looking down a rocky slope in front of us. There were some huge boulder steps leading down to a road that was about 40 feet down and across the road was a lake surrounded by the forest. The time shifted forward and I found myself backing down the steps. I was talking to the two people who were previously in the back seat but were now standing in the mouth of the cave. While climbing down I stuck my foot out and noticed that the pull of gravity on me changed which made me realize I was dreaming. I pushed away from the steps and floated over them. My thoughts and the scenery around me became crystal clear and for a few seconds I questioned whether I was in my primary reality (whatever that is). This awareness abruptly ended and I woke up.

From this point forward, the experiences described were absolutely real in the context of what our waking reality on Earth is like. I had fully waking consciousness with all senses and Earthly memories. I was laying in bed thinking about the dream and I could feel a vibration in my chest. I focused my intent on altering my awareness and the vibrations got stronger and actually tickled under my arms to the point that I woke up. I sat up and looked around and realized that I was not in my bed in Austin. I was in my childhood bunkbed and there was another bed across from me on the other side of the room. My younger brother had gotten up, gone to the restroom and come back to bed. It didn’t register at first, but then I thought to myself “My brother is married and grown!”. I realized that I was reliving the past or experiencing an alternate reality. I woke up again.

I was laying in bed and once again, I was still in the old childhood bunkbed. Then I heard a voice that said “Would you like to experience an unactualized past reality?” It went on to say “If you choose to do this, it will be absolutely real and you may lose the connection to your current incarnation briefly.” I said yes, the voice disappeared and I sat up in the bunkbed and it was morning. I jumped out of bed and instantly felt a lighter body. I must have been about 8 years old and I was in my childhood home.

I walked to the living room and I saw my Dad sitting in an armchair watching TV. It was interesting because I DID remember my current incarnation and I wanted to see what was different from what I remembered from growing up in waking reality. I figured the best way would be to ask my Dad questions.

The first thing I said to him was “Hey, what’s up?” Then I realized that I wouldn’t have said that back then and he was looking at me strange. Then I asked him “How’s Mr. Tate doing?” Mr. Tate was the neighbor directly to the left of us when we were growing up. My Dad replied “Who is that?” Interesting. Then I asked how Mr. Kindred and Mr. Beyer were doing. They were our other neighbors. He seemed to remember them and replied, “Kindered is good and Beyer is still the same crazy.” I guess it was a bit different than what he said about Mr. Beyer in waking life in the past which was “I’ll be glad when he is dead”. He got his wish in 2009 BTW.

I was kinda laughing and thinking that perhaps it was the presense of Mr. Tate that had created the bitterness in waking life, but at the same time realized that I would never understand the mind of my Dad. I woke up after this and had to check to make sure I was really awake this time. . My Wife was in bed with me and I could see my kids so yes, I was back in waking life. For those of you who have never experienced lucid dreams / alternate realities, it’s really hard to explain the reality confusion. I will just repeat myself and say that while in these altered states there is NO difference from them and waking reality other than I have my waking memories which seem to conflict with them. The things is, when the senses are telling me “This is REAL”, I end up questioning the memories.

This experience comes to me after several dormant weeks. I hope it’s a sign of things to come because I really do have fun with these things.

Last night I laid down to sleep around 10:30 PM and started listening to AmbiScience™ Shamanic Meditation Low Pitch (Isochronic tones at 4.5HZ) with Leaving Terra overlaid. This track seems to always put me a drift in outer space with the feeling that stars are speaking to me. I listened quietly in a relaxed state for about 15 minutes and then exited AmbiScience™ and switched to the iPod and put the ELO – Out of the Blue album on a loop.

Interestingly enough some non physical activity started happening as I listened to the Electric Light Orchestra. I was laying on my right side visualizing my body spinning counter clockwise. I was repeating this over and over and it might have been on the 5th attempt when I felt a body inside my physical body rotate through the bed to face the direction that my physical body’s back was facing and then I floated up towards the ceiling and heard a loud snap. I sudden felt as though I was falling which startled me back to waking awareness. I then noticed that I was listening to a different song when time skipped and suddenly I was halfway through another song the very next instance. I fell asleep shortly after this and didn’t wake back up until about 4 PM.

Around 4 – 5 PM I found myself in a lucid dream state. My Wife was there and we owned a house with a two car garage and there was a BMW parked inside it. While in this lucid dream state I remember thinking back in time to when we had bought the car cheap and about how it felt weird owning it at first but after a span of time it seemed normal. There was a laptop with a cell phone attached to it sitting on a table in the garage. It was my Wife’s laptop and we had been at a business earlier and a woman had let us borrow the phone to get internet access. Apparently we had forgotten to give the phone back and someone was calling it.

I answered the phone and there were two IT detectives on the other end. They seemed shocked that answered the phone and told me that most of the time this wouldn’t happen. They were accusing me of stealing the phone and I told them that we had simply forgotten to give the phone back. I remember thinking to myself “What’s up with this lady? She knew that we borrowed the phone and forgot.”

Somehow the conversation got off topic when one of the guys started talking nonsense about me using up internet resources on the phone. This is where things got weird. I told him that I was at home on a cable connection and didn’t need the phone. The guy responded that cable was not fast enough and I started naming all of the devices that are connected to our network in waking life. The strange part is that the dream became very lucid and I realized I was dreaming and that I was hovering between waking awareness and dream state. When I was naming the devices I was actually verbally saying them in this intermediate state and could hear my voice as in physical matter reality. I was having a hard time pronouncing words in this state. I could hear my speech slurring and was having to try very hard not to transition completely into physical awareness. Before long I didn’t care about actually talking to the dream entity and became more focused on just trying to replicate speech in this state. I remember saying we have two iPhones, three computers, Netflix and we use Time Warner Cable. When I said Time Warner Cable I had already transitioned to waking awareness and I actually said TIME WARNER CABLE really loud and my wife was awake and was like “What?”.

I don’t know if anyone reading this has ever tried to speak or heard their voice in the non physical, but it’s very unnatural sounding. It’s actually very unnatural to speak at all in these altered states. It seems that information is instantaneously transferred without sound, sometimes with visuals and sometime just instant knowing. The point is, sound seems to be an exception. This doesn’t mean that it is an exception, it just seems that it is.

There was one other thing that I dreamed about, and it’s odd because my Wife and I shared the exact same dream. We both dreamed that our Son Gabriel was walking at 3 months old and we both recall talking to each other. I remember telling her “See I told you that he would be walking early!” and her responding with “Yeah, but three mouths old?!”. This is what happened in both dreams.

A few days ago I found a new app for my iPhone called Naturespace Holographic Audio. It caught my attention when I was searching for ambiance applications. The creators make the following claim:

Like dreaming while awake, our recordings create the illusion of being transported to another place. Not just the sounds of nature, but the spaces of forests, canyons, rivers and open fields induce a “being there” experience. Created with recording techniques designed specifically for headphone listening, they reach deep into your subconscious and the dreaming begins.

Sounded good to me so I bought it! The product does indeed live up to their claim. I turned on one of the tracks that came with that application and it was like literally being in a remote location. They have somehow recorded the audio tracks so that the sounds are in 3D. Don’t ask me how because I don’t know, but it’s a unique experience to say the least.

There is one track in particular that I like and it’s called “Night at Lake Unknown”. When I listen to it, I feel like I am by a rushing mountain river out in the Smokies where I grew up.

Two nights ago I was listening to the track mentioned above as I fell asleep and as I did I noticed that the darkness behind my eyes began to fade into light and within about 15 minutes I found myself totally disconnected from my current awareness and back in my childhood awareness. This experience was not dreamlike. I literally was in my body as it was in the late 70s early 80s. I was back in time on a camping trip with my dad in Telico Plains, TN up in the mountains.

It was morning and I was in the process of waking up. I noticed the sound of the river beside our tent and the smell of the campfire burning from the night before. There was a feeling of youthful excitement within me as I laid in my sleeping bag and realized that I was camping and that I was surrounded by a completely new environment. This wasn’t like the bed at home that I was used to. I felt connected to the forest around me and to the creatures in the river and trees that I had experienced the day before.

Within a few minutes the scene faded and I came back to present time and jumped up almost in a panic. Almost as if coming back to my current awareness was a shock.

This has to be one of the most rewarding altered states of consciousness that I have experienced in some time. I had completely forgotten how it felt to be new on this planet before being exposed to the abstracts of our society. I was experiencing things for the first time with no filters in place. I was experiencing the joy of the world from the perspective of a child. It was such a wonderful experience.

I think that I actually accessed the past actualized database that Physicist Tom Campbell mentions in his My Big TOE and in his lectures.

I can’t promise that this application will produce results like I had, but if you have an iPhone check out Naturespace Holographic Audio. It will deeply relax you if nothing else.

Last night I was extremely tired after a long day of getting nothing done. I have days where I work fervently but without any focus and end up nowhere. That was my day yesterday. I normally try to meditate for an hour or so before bed while listening to binaural beats or isochronic tones that range between 4.5 HZ and 9 HZ. Last night I decided that a 3 HZ tone and some rest would be a better idea.

I laid down and instantly fell asleep around 12:30 AM. The earbud headphones stayed snug in my ears while I slept through the night with the 3 HZ tone pulsing the entire time. Around 5 AM (I think) I remember being in a dream on a road that crossed through a residential area. I was talking to my Wife and I was still very much out of control. Then I remember that I started to meditate in the street and things drastically changed.

While meditating I floated out of my body and as I did my vision sharpened and I had full waking awareness within my dream. It’s hard to explain and perhaps it will not make sense to someone that’s focused on physical matter reality but as I was in this state I was communicating with my wife with non verbal communication and I remember being excited at the possibility.

I walked around for what I perceived to be 20 minutes at least. Some things to note is that my vision was superb in this state. There were tons of oak and maple trees around and the colors had a depth to them beyond that of which I have seen in waking reality. The leaves were super sharp and I could see every detail of every leaf.

The odd part about it all was that I seemed to be contained within a dome of light and then off in the distance I could see the light fading off into darkness. Several times I walked into the darkness and I could feel my dream state rushing back trying to take over my awareness. I would simply demand awareness and the darkness would retreat.

Towards the end of this experience I looked up and noticed that in the darkness there were thousands of stars. I remember thinking to myself that I wanted more information about the stars and suddenly dozens of translucent information panels appears in my field of view and as I focused on areas of the sky beams of light would extend out from the surrounding panels and information about the objects would appear on the panels. It was happening very quickly and the panels would shift around into the perfect spots to avoid blocking my view of what I was looking at. I seemed to be able to read the information much faster than in this awareness and the rapidly changing positions and information didn’t seem to bother me.

Then what I call the grand finale happened. While looking at the night, meteors started whizzing by and rectangular white marques would zoom in and surround them as they blazed across the sky and little bursts of information about them would hit my consciousness. The information that I was seeing is not something that I can translate into human terms. I woke up shortly after the meteors and it was about 6 AM.

This is all for now. Feel free to comment and let me know what you think .

This is a Lucid Dream from a few months back where I was staying at my parents in the country.. the moon was massive and the air clear.. I stayed about 5 days and had a large amount of LD’s and dreams of different types and lengths.. following is the one with the most awareness and control..

I’m in a dream which starts to get quite vivid.. I’m in a hotel or similar type environment.. It seems like I’ve just been to the toilet or something.. The dream gets more vivid and eventually lucid after someone collapses on the floor while I’m returning (to somewhere) from the toilet.. Being a health practitioner and a holder of a first aid certificate I feel compelled to help this fellow collapsed on the ground.. I go to him and while doing so I raise the alarm that someone is down..

I’m about to start the D,R,A,B,C during which he pops up and seems OK… Weird! I was thinking he collapsed due to being drunk so how did he just get up again so quickly being fairly normal? At this stage I have this information given to me (kind of like in the form of a narration in a movie – but it could have come from another dream character not sure) – the info stated – This fellow had collapsed because of ice (the drug)?? Lucidity kicks in strongly following all this weirdness..

I walk with this fellow back to a table where he’s smoking ice every now and then.. My lucidity wanes periodically while sitting here with him.. At some point I decide to move on… I find myself flying into a city environment. There are HEAPS of people.. More people than I have ever seen in a dream in one place at one time.. I’m fairly lucid and here I kind of ALLOW myself to be pulled toward the area I am needed to go.. I land and this woman starts talking to me.. not sure what about but the scence starts to break down and I am required to consciously maintain lucidity (I wish I could describe for newcomers how I prolong dreams by maintaining consciousness when it waivers but best is to suggest it is much like increasing conscious awareness in waking life via conscious effort).. My lucidity is maintained and again I simply ALLOW myself to be PULLED.. this happened earlier and I consciously allow this to happens a few times in this dream.. It just feels like a pulling sensation lifting me upward and I move with this power that lifts me and places me down in another area..

Here it gets really interesting.. I’m pulled up and placed down and an old girlfriend comes up to me.. I recognise her and think “Wow, this probably a good opportunity for some healing”.. Thinking if I was pulled here it’s probably healing more for her as I don’t really feel I have issues left there to deal with.. My feeling is she has some issues as she feels bad for breaking up with me but I don’t have any hard feelings toward her.. She says my name “Dean” and as we get closer together she tries to kiss me.. I move away from the kiss and instead hug her.. I’m put off by the kiss attempt but the hug feels fine, like I’m hugging an old friend I still care about.. She then pulls out of the hug and decides to go do something else.. No idea where she has gone.. I wait a few to about 10seconds or so then decide to leave via the ALLOWING/PULLING upward method..

I’m pulled into another scene.. (I should say that in this area where I am there are dozens and probably hundreds of scenes playing out virtually a few feet from each other but all very different and seemingly quite independent.. each in their own bubble or similar).. I’m pulled over to another woman who is quite upset, I seem to know her, I don’t know where from but I recognise her.. I try to comfort her saying “it’s OK” etc.. There are broken/smashed champagne glasses sitting on a table.. The woman suggests she doesn’t know me but still is kind of blaming me for something.. (I’m thinking maybe there was a possibility to meet her in the future but the way my life worked out with my current partner meant this wasn’t going to happen).. I move to a very nearby scene but don’t remember how..

I find myself standing at a table that has a group of young men sitting around.. When I cast my eyes in at the table there are small boxes of marijuana and I am offered some.. I say something to the effect of “No thanks guys I haven’t done this stuff in a long time and don’t really feel like doing any”.. The buds are large and white and I remember thinking they reminded me of chunks of cauliflower with a fleck of green.. Even though I didn’t want any.. something in me decides that it may be good to take some for the future and I stuff my pockets with the stuff.. (???) .. I remember that I was supposed to go back to my old girlfriend to talk and see if there was anything that needed taking care of (healing)..

At this time I just made my way back to the scene and saw her but felt a pull to come back to my physical body and the scene started to go black and I found myself in bed looking at the back of my eyelids.. I tried to stay still and go back in but the desire to move was like a bad itch I had to scratch and I decided to wake up for the day..

In this experience interesting things were:

I was able to move around by ALLOWING myself to be SHIFTED/PULLED when I desired to move

The earlier time the scene was breaking down it was breaking down into a white fuzz. In contrast the later time the scene was getting hard to hold onto it was going black/dark and I had trouble seeing before I found myself in bed.

I’m beginning to wonder if the different colours in the example above mean different things because these colours seem to relate to different things.. White when the scene is breaking down but lucidity is easier to maintain and black before finding myself in bed looking at eyelids.. The scene turning black may be an early indication that we are about to come back to the physical body and therefore may allow us to prepare for further OBE exits earlier than we would if we fully come into the physical body and feel the body’s density (which can be followed by vibes and exit).. but for me sometimes this maintaining stillness/waiting for vibes is fairly uncomfortable and I often HAVE to move..

Cheers,

Dean

This is a short lucid dream experience that I had a few days ago. It seems that perhaps the lack of sleep helped to trigger this event. I can’t be absolutely sure though.

The last two weeks have been rough as far as sleep goes. Our son Gabriel was born on June 20th (Father’s Day) and since then we have been getting adjusted to his sleeping patterns. This basically means that we have not been getting much sleep.

It was Thursday night and I had finally fallen asleep at about 1 am after Gabriel had been up crying and eventually fell asleep. As I drifted off I cleared my mind and I noticed that after about five minutes a sinking sensation within me. I then noticed that I was still aware (as in I had waking consciousness), and my body had sunk into the mattress. This to me indicated that my awareness had shifted and that my physical body was sleeping and my awareness was separated from the physical body data stream.

I set my intent on moving over to where my wife was sleeping in the bed next to mine and instantly I found myself floating up and across the room and over to her. I floated over her and gently landed on the bed next to her. She seemed to be confused and not herself and I remember pointing at myself sleeping on the other bed and I was telling her that I was in two places at once. She still seemed confused and didn’t answer.

I decided to leave the room and floated downstairs. When I arrived downstairs I found myself in an unfamiliar room and staring at static on a TV that was sitting in the middle of the room. I must have stared at the TV for a few minutes and then I floated back upstairs.

When I was back upstairs I lost most of my awareness and drifted into the middle of the room against the wall and felt myself spinning. The more I spun the less awareness I had until I finally lost all awareness and ended up dreaming.

Last night I was feeling very tired. This is mostly because I have been working my day job plus staying up late studying and getting my web programming business going. I wasn’t expecting or trying to have an OOBE or a lucid dream last night, I was simply trying to get a good night’s rest.

I fell asleep listening to Electric Light Orchestra – Out of the Blue and then woke back up a few minutes later choking after sucking some saliva down my windpipe. What a horrible feeling it is to wake up gasping for air but it seems to happen to me frequently. I fell back asleep after this and didn’t wake back up.

I don’t remember much of my dreams last night but at some point I found myself in a dream laying in my bed trying to fall asleep. I remember trying to get comfortable but couldn’t. I then felt someone tucking me in. I am not sure who it was but as they tucked me in I became extremely relaxed and then instinctively went for an exit technique. I felt myself sink down into the bed and then I drifted out of the bed an into a upright position standing in the doorway leading out of my bedroom.

I walked down the hallway and then down the stairs to the first floor of our apartment. When I got to the bottom of the stairs I started thinking about whether or not I was awake or asleep so I tried the wall test by attempting to stick my foot though the wall next to the door that leads out of the apartment. The wall seemed pretty solid to me so I figured that I might be awake. I decided to head outside and see if things out there matched waking reality.

I walked out the door and noticed that things looked and felt real but the outside area did not match what’s really in front of my apartment. It’s hard to explain this and you have to experience an OOBE or lucid dream to understand. Even when things don’t match waking reality, it’s hard to convince yourself that it’s not waking reality. The reason for this is how vivid the experience usually is. There is not a difference as far as senses go between being awake or being lucid or in an OOBE. The only clues that you have to go on are reality fluctuations. Even though I normally know that I am not at my real house, the experience itself is very real and normally I am not asking “Is this real?”, I am asking “Where the hell am I?”.

When I waked out of the apartment I found myself standing on a large elevated concrete porch under a white aluminum awning. I was in an urban neighborhood and there was a road directly in front of the house and there were houses on either side of the road about 30 ft apart from each other.

I walked down the stairs and out into the street and looked to my left and noticed a man about 100 yards away walking down the street towards me. It was at this point that I noticed that my clothes had disappeared so I ran back up the porch stairs and ducked out of view. I reality fluctuation happened again and my clothes were back. I wanted to test the environment so I jumped up in the air and rather than falling back to the ground I hovered about 2 ft off the ground. seeing that I was able to fly I decided to explore the neighborhood from the air.

I floated down the stairs and this time turned right and headed down the street. I traveled several houses down and noticed that on the left there was a house with a carport and under it were about 5 or 6 women. I went over and said hi or something that I don’t remember and they started being snobbish. I started becoming too aware at this point and felt the environment around me begin to degrade and a few seconds later found myself back in my normal awareness awake in bed.

I don’t know if this was a lucid dream or an OOBE but overall it was a cool experience. Maybe next time something more trippy will happen.

As my lack of posts shows, I do not strive to project like my husband, David, does. I have known of such experiences but never really had the curiosity that my other half has in the subject. Even if I did, I think my mom duties would keep me from really becoming fully engaged in striving for achieving going out of body. I am more in the frame of mind that “if it happens , it happens..If not then I won’t be disappointed”

This morning I was not intending to try to go out of body. It was the last thing on my mind. I was more concerned with how long my 4 year old was going to sleep and the laundry I was going to have to start once I got up from bed. I woke up with David’s alarm clock and drifted back to sleep for some time. I awoke again some 45 minutes later and laid in bed checking my email and surfing the net on my I-phone as my daughter slept next to me in her bed. David came into the room and said goodbye to me before he headed to work and I continued to surf the net. I grew bored and a bit sleepy so I laid my head back down and found a comfortable spot to drift off. I am 24 weeks pregnant with our first son and so I fell asleep to feeling his kicks and movements. As I drifted off to sleep, I had a feeling I was going into sleep paralysis because I got a very similar sensation of the inability to keep my eyelids open no matter how much I tried. Its very similar to the feeling of trying to keep your eyes open as anesthesia is beginning to take its effect before you go under for surgery. The only difference is that your mind stays awake and aware of what is going on where as when under anesthesia, you just black out for what seems like a second and then your awake again.

As I lay there, I began to realize I could feel my child’s movements fade away. He was still active but its as if they just became lighter and lighter as I began to feel the vibrations come over me. I thought to myself ” Oh I know what this is…I am not gonna chicken out like I did last time!” Last time being my other post from back in April of 2009.

As the vibrational state came over me, I said to myself “I am going out of body” and repeated that about three times. Suddenly I heard myself take a deep, deep, breath of air and as the air filled my lungs, I felt myself float up. It was as if my lungs being filled with air were acting as helium balloons lifting me up and out. Right at that time, I heard a voice very clearly say to me ” I see France”. I also heard a man’s voice but could not make out what he said. I did not understand what “I see France” meant so as I tried to gain better sight, the motherly part of me took over. I heard my daughter stir and move and then I switched to what I can only assume was dream mode. I dreamed my daughter sat up in bed and was talking to me…I knew I was dreaming and tried to gain control back of reality but failed. I struggled to wake up and began to wiggle my fingers to wake myself up. Just then, my son gave me a good kick as if to say ” Hey mom wake up!” and that did it. I was back in my body and fully awake, only to see that I had been right to assume I was in a dream state when I imagined my daughter awake and sitting up. She was still fast asleep in the same position she was when I had drifted off to sleep.

All in all, it was pretty interesting and I am glad I got a little bit further then I did last time. I was able to at least get up and out of my body even if it was just for a short few seconds to a minute. Maybe in another 10 months, I will get a bit closer. Then again, I will have a 6 month old so I will just be thankful to get a whole night’s sleep, projecting or no projecting!

This will be a short post because the lucid dream faded quickly. I feel the need to document these experiences if for no reason other than to trend the frequency that I become aware in states of consciousness where I should have been completely unconscious.

I went to bed around 11 PM Central after winning another game of iPhone Scrabble against my wife. I listened to “Brain Sync – The Secret – Universal Mind Meditation” as I drifted off and in about twenty minutes sleep and unconsciousness claimed my mind.

I don’t remember much of my dreams last night other than at some point around 4 AM I found myself throwing a baseball around with three other guys that I don’t remember meeting in waking life. I was in a semi-wooded field type area and I remember throwing the ball to one of the guys that was standing in a wooded patch and he ended up throwing the ball two miles up the hill from us. I felt the need to go fetch so I ran up the hill after the ball.

There was a fluctuation in time and suddenly I was at the top of the hill holding the ball in my hand. I don’t remember making the complete trip up the hill or actually finding the ball. I was standing uphill and in front of this half mile wide river which was opposite to the side of the field that I had been tossing the ball in.

I took off running down the hill towards the river and as I got closer I noticed that there was a steep embankment leading down to it. I started asking myself if I should stop running or if I should leap off of the embankment and fly across the river. This triggered lucidity in the dream because I knew that in waking life I would not be asking myself such things. If I have learned nothing else in life, I have learned that this physical subsystem that we exist in has laws and people can’t fly unaided, which is very unfortunate .

When I touched down on the baseball field side of the river I was fully conscious and lucid in my dream. The three guys were gone and I simply walked around for what I perceived as about a minute. It’s very exciting when you have waking consciousness while dreaming. You must experience it to get it. I tried to hold it all together but the environment and my surroundings quickly faded and I woke up.

Dreams and Lucid dreams in my opinion appear to be mostly physical phenomenons. I am not quite sure what happens when I become lucid and if the lucid awareness has its source rooted beyond the physical. I do know through personal experience that normal unconscious dreams are at least partly if not all physical. When I was still experiencing migraines with visual auras I experienced the aura in a dream and then woke up during this experience to find that I was still seeing it in waking life.

Now when I go out of body it’s a completely different feeling and I sometime actually transition out of a lucid dream to get there. Out of body experiences feel as real or more real than waking life. Thomas Campbell and Robert Bruce seem to be right about what’s going on when people experience projections into other realities. Consciousness must manifest a new body for whatever reality you are visiting. This newly manifested body or form will of course exist in parallel to and independent from your physical body and the physical mind does not need to be in a sleep state in order to manifest consciousness into another reality.

I hope this post doesn’t make Emmy jealous, but for the sake of consciousness research I must write.

I fell asleep at around 11:30 PM last night and as I fell asleep I tried to clear my mind by observing thoughts without becoming attached to them. Around 5 AM I woke up and ran to the bathroom and then came back to bed and began trying the same techniques in an attempt to astral project. I was tired and my mind was not really coherent so I started trying to push thoughts away. I realized what I was doing and then began allowing my thoughts to drift in without resistance. I was surprised at some of the random thoughts that were entering my mind. For example a fleeting thought of a specific trip to McDonald’s with my Dad when I was a small child entered my head. These thoughts came and went for 10 minutes or so and during this time frame vibrations were felt several times.

Around 5:30 AM I felt the sensation of myself being bouncing around inside my body. I knew what this was because it’s happened before so I envisioned myself violently bouncing back and forth and within couple of seconds I felt a release and I floated up into the ceiling and things went completely black. I suspected that I was stuck in the ceiling so I thought about standing in my backyard and as I did I felt movement as I drifted from the roof area of my house down into the backyard.

While I was standing in the yard I had full waking consciousness. I knew my name, address etc. I knew that I was either asleep, in some altered state of consciousness or in another reality. I stood there for a minute and let it all soak in. My quality of perception was very good this time and the quality of vision and my senses was superb, equal to or better than waking life.

I looked around and the first thing that came to mind was that I needed to validate and collect evidence. This is where reality fluctuations came into play. I had the idea of floating over to my neighbors house and looking around inside. The idea was that if I ever go inside her house I might be able to identify something I saw in this state. I probably need to rethink my methods of validation.

I floated over to this window that doesn’t really exist in waking life (reality fluctuation) and I pressed my head against the screen in the window (another reality fluctuation, it’s too cold for open windows). Inside I could see her getting a small girl ready for school. She glanced over in my direction at one point but she didn’t seem to notice me there. I was at the window for about a minute and then things shifted.

I found myself standing on the front porch of a house with her on the street I grew up on as a child. She was pissing off the front porch in an attempt to put out a cigarette that she had just thrown on the ground. This was all to funny for me so I asked her if she could see me? She nodded and said yes. I laughed out loud and asked her “You know you are in my dream, right?”. She didn’t really answer, either she was a dream character or she was just drifting in unconsciousness, it’s hard to say.

She took off running towards the house where my dad lives and jumped into this truck that I have never seen before. This is the part Emmy will like. I jumped in behind her and asked her if she wanted to have sex just to see how she would respond. She agreed to this, but as we started undressing darkness faded in and I found myself back in bed. I question my level of lucidity at this point because I know that I would not cheat in waking life.

I lost lucidity because in my mind I really thought I was awake, but I should have known that I wasn’t because someone out back was mowing the lawn. It’s unlikely that someone would be mowing the lawn at this time of year and at this time of morning. Still this wasn’t enough to make me realize that I was sleeping and the dream continued for about another hour before I finally woke up and wrote this.

The conclusion here is that I was either in the RTZ with extreme reality fluctuations or I was having a lucid dream. Either way I had full waking consciousness. Emmy, you have my permission to have dream sex with anyone that you want.
