Thanks for answering.  That is encouraging that the Master dreamer himself had those blocks. The comment about living in the moment or mindfulness, is good, sound general advice, however I am looking for a more specific solution.

I purchased  Lucidology102 yesterday, am still downloading it.  Perhaps I will find the answer there.  In a few ongoing conversations that I have in cyberspace with other LDers, there seems to be a time when the routine that always worked now longer works.  I guess that keeps the search evolving!

Now I have found that these results are dwindling.  I awaken at 3:00, do a bit of exercise, so that I won&#039;t be cramped and soar during the ensuing induction time, which helps a lot,  meditate or read about lucid dreaming or OBEs for a half hour, get back into bed, lay totally still - and wait.  Until recently this worked every time.  The last couple of times, however, and with the timer in the background, I was unable to get to sleep, totally.  The only OBE or LD onset evidence was seeing through closed eyelids, this lasting only moments, and then a bit of hypnogogia beginning, and then ending.  And then nothing.
